iPhone Desk Art – Shadow Box Mounting an iPhone 4

I have been wondering for a while what to do with an old iPhone that I had laying around in my drawer.

I saw a post on Reddit where someone did something similar to this to showcase another old iPhone – so I thought it’d be a cool project.

I’m planning on keeping it on my desk at work along with all the other nerdy things I already have there (3D printed widgets and such). I’m sure it will end up being quite the conversation piece! 🙂

The idea is pretty simple.
1) Disassemble an old phone
2) Mount the cool looking pieces in a shadow box
3) Enjoy!

I purchased the shadow box from Hobby Lobby, but you can find them pretty much anywhere including Amazon. I’ll link to one that seems similar to the one that I used below.
