I’ve had a few people ask about how a couple recent unboxing videos were done on the channel.
So I recorded a quick and dirty explanation of how I have set this up for those that might be interested in also creating an inexpensive and flexible overhead camera mount for YouTube or other video recording needs!
This method will only work with smaller cameras, not large and heavy DSLRs – so keep that in mind!
Here are links to a few of the items shown in the video. You can probably use any standard tripod mount ball head for this setup, at least using the microphone boom arm that I am using. It has a standard male 3/8 inch mounting thread that will work with standard tripod heads.
